The Brocade 7500 Extension Switch is a robust platform for data centers and multisite environments implementing disk and tape SAN extension solutions for open systems and mainframe environments. It combines integrated Fibre Channel switching and routing capabilities with FCIP for replication, backup, and migration over IP WAN links.
Whether configured for simple point-to-point or comprehensive multisite SAN extension, the Brocade 7500 addresses business continuity, compliance, and global data access requirements. Sixteen 4 Gbps Fibre Channel ports and two 1 GbE ports provide reliable Fibre Channel, FICON, and FCIP bandwidth; port density; and throughput for multisite and point-to-point SAN extension.
With support for hardware-based compression, Fast Write, Tape Pipelining, Brocade Storage Optimized TCP, and the industry-unique Brocade Accelerator for FICON, the Brocade 7500 is a robust solution for Fibre Channel and FICON SAN extension over IP WANs.

5-Year Foundry/Brocade Warranty
As the world’s largest reseller of refurbished Brocade hardware, we offer an extended 5-Year warranty to end-users for every piece of gear we deliver. This warranty includes advance replacement, which means when you call us to report a problem, our technical team will work with you quickly to assess the problem. If we cannot overcome it, we ship a replacement unit immediately. Your sales rep will then provide an email to you with RMA instructions for returning the faulty unit.
*In the event we cannot supply a replacement unit, we will provide a refund or credit once faulty unit is returned.
The defective product must be received by Townsend Networks within 30 calendar days from the date the RMA is issued. A defective product received by Townsend Networks more than 30 calendar days from the date the RMA is issued will not be accepted by Townsend Networks and will not be eligible for repair, replacement or credit.
