It can even support up to 1 million routes with a license upgrade.
The main difference between the MLX and MLXe series is that the latter is “high-end,” able to support bigger and faster networks with more nodes, as seen by the vast number of routes it can support.
This MLX/MLXe module offers similar capabilities to the above module, but offers eight 10 GbE ports with IPv4/IPv6/MPLS connectivity using XFP optics rather than just four. It supports up to 1 million routes over high speed switch fabric modules.
