Terms of Service

These terms govern purchases from and sales to Townsend Networks, 35 Reed Blvd., Suite A, Mill Valley, CA 94941 ("Townsend", "we", "us"). Townsend sells new-excess, used, and refurbished enterprise network hardware and buys surplus equipment. By purchasing from or selling to us, you agree to these terms.

All sales are business-to-business. Quotes are firm for the period stated on the quote; prices and availability otherwise change with the secondary market.

Every product we sell is covered by the Townsend 3-Year Warranty. Warranty terms and the RMA process are published on the Warranty page and form part of these terms.

Townsend Networks independently sources and sells new-excess, used, and refurbished hardware from APC, Arista, Brocade, Cisco, Dell, Extreme Networks, Fortinet, Foundry, HP, HPE, Juniper, Mellanox, Palo Alto Networks, Ruckus and other manufacturers. We are not an authorized reseller or partner of any of them, and every trademark named is the property of its owner. Our products are independently sold and backed by the Townsend Networks warranty.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, and to update pricing, availability and these terms at any time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to them, or to any purchase or sale made under them, is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts of Marin County, California and the federal courts of the Northern District of California, and both parties consent to venue there.
