Our Mission
Enterprise hardware is built to run for decades. Most of it is retired in five years. We exist to close that gap.
A switch that lists for five figures does not stop being a good switch when a data center refreshes. Our mission is to extend the working life of enterprise network hardware: recover it, test it, warranty it, and put it back to work at a fraction of list price.
For buyers, that means enterprise-grade hardware without the OEM markup, backed by our own testing and warranty.
For sellers, it means turning decommissioned equipment into cash in days instead of letting it depreciate in a storage cage, while keeping valuable, working hardware in service and out of landfills.
This is not a position we adopted along the way. It is the model Townsend Networks was built on in 2002, and it has not needed revising since. We buy good hardware from networks that no longer need it and put it back to work in networks that do.
Recover
Surplus gear bought for cash, wire, or trade-in credit.
Restore
Bench-tested and re-certified by our own technicians.
Redeploy
Back into production networks, under our warranty rather than a supplier's.
