Townsend 3-Year Warranty
Most brokers give you 30 days. Every unit we sell (new-excess, sealed, refurbished, or used) is covered for 3 years.
What's covered
Hardware failure in normal use, for 3 years from the date of delivery. That includes ports, PSUs, fans, backplanes, and module slots: the things our bench tested before the unit shipped. If it fails, we repair it or replace it with an equivalent tested unit.
What's not
Physical damage after delivery, water/surge events, unauthorized modification, and consumables (batteries, removable media). Software licensing and vendor support contracts are outside our warranty; we're an independent reseller and our warranty is our own.
RMA process
- Contact us with the serial number and a description of the fault: 415-626-4231 or sales@townsendnetworks.com.
- A technician confirms the fault with you, often same day.
- We issue an RMA number and a prepaid return label.
- Repair or replacement ships as soon as the fault is verified; advance replacement is available for critical infrastructure.
Covered for 3 years. If a unit fails, the tested replacement ships from our own shelf, often the same day.
Townsend Networks independently sources and sells new-excess, used, and refurbished hardware from APC, Arista, Brocade, Cisco, Dell, Extreme Networks, Fortinet, Foundry, HP, HPE, Juniper, Mellanox, Palo Alto Networks, Ruckus and other manufacturers. We are not an authorized reseller or partner of any of them, and every trademark named is the property of its owner. Our products are independently sold and backed by the Townsend Networks warranty.
