Is the hardware tested before it ships?
Yes. Every unit (new-excess, used, or refurbished) is bench-tested in-house by certified technicians before it is listed, and re-verified before it ships. See our Testing Process page for the details.
How fast do orders ship?
Orders placed by 12pm ship the same business day. Overnight shipping is available across the US, and we deliver worldwide.
Do you buy used equipment?
Yes. Buying and liquidating surplus gear is half our business. We buy Juniper, Arista, Brocade and Cisco hardware for cash, wire, or trade-in credit, arrange pickup, and process within 48 hours of receipt.
How do quotes work for unpriced items?
High-ticket and bulk items are quote-driven. Send the part number and quantity through the quote form, chat, or phone and a human who knows the hardware will come back with a firm price, typically the same business day.
About Brocade MLXe 10GbE Modules at Townsend

Brocade MLXe 10GbE Modules, listed with prices and live stock at Townsend Networks: BR-MLX-10GX20-M and BR-MLX-10GX20-X2. Every unit is tested in-house before it ships and carries a 3-year warranty.

Both parts are MLXe line cards with 20 ports of 1/10GbE SFP+, and optics are sold separately. A line card installs into a host chassis and does not run on its own. The BR-MLX-10GX20-M is a 20-port 10GbE/1GbE SFP+/SFP combo interface module with hardware IPv4, IPv6 and MPLS routing and up to 512K IPv4 routes in the forwarding table. The BR-MLX-10GX20-X2 has the same 20 ports, with up to 2M IPv4 plus 0.8M IPv6 routes in the forwarding table, and it needs an hSFM fabric module.

These cards fall under the same Brocade notice as the rest of the MLXe. Sale ended on July 31, 2022 and support runs to July 31, 2027. The replacement the notice names is the Extreme SLX 9920, and the table above links to the notice.
