The Brocade ICX7150-24P-4X1G is a switch from the Brocade ICX7150 family with 24 ports of 1GbE PoE+ RJ45, 2 ports of 1GbE RJ45 and AC power. It has 30 ports in all. It runs RUCKUS FastIron. This unit is refurbished (used): inspected, powered on and functionally tested by Townsend Networks technicians before listing. One switch per order, with a rack-mount kit and the power cable(s) to match.
- Compatible with
- Stacks with the other ICX 7150 models, up to 12 switches in a stack. Ruckus says 10 Gbps SFP+ ports are required for stacking; this model has 4×1 GbE SFP uplinks until a license upgrades them, BR-ICX-7150-41U210-P-01 to two 10 GbE SFP+ or BR-ICX-7150-41U410R-P-01 to four, the second also adding OSPF, VRRP, PIM and PBR.
- HOW IT DIFFERS
- ICX7150-24P-4X1G is the entry uplink option of the 24 port PoE+ line: 24 PoE+ ports with a 370 W PoE budget, 2 one-gigabit RJ45 uplinks and 4 one-gigabit SFP uplinks that a license upgrades to up to 4 10 GbE SFP+, with basic Layer 3 (static routing and RIP). ICX7150-24P-4X1G has the same switching capacity as every 24 port model in the table. Its sister ICX7150-24P-4X10GR ships with 4×10 GbE SFP+ stacking and uplink ports and the Layer 3 features OSPF, VRRP, PIM and PBR, and ICX7150-24-4X1G has these one-gigabit uplinks without PoE.

Questions about the Ruckus ICX7150 family
- What do the ICX 7150 part number suffixes mean?
- From Ruckus's ordering information: -4X1G and -2X1G models have 1GbE SFP uplinks that a Ruckus licence upgrades to 10GbE, with basic Layer 3 (static routing and RIP). -2X10G models have two 1GbE SFP and two 10GbE SFP+ stacking and uplink ports, upgradable to four 10GbE by licence, also with basic Layer 3. -4X10GR and -2X10GR models have four (or, on the compact models, two) 10GbE SFP+ stacking and uplink ports and Layer 3 features including OSPF, VRRP, PIM and PBR. On the 48ZP, -E2X10G has six 1GbE SFP and two 10GbE SFP+ ports, upgradable to eight 10GbE by licence, and the eight-port model has eight 10GbE SFP+ ports with Layer 3 features.
- Is the Ruckus ICX 7150 end of sale?
- Yes. Ruckus ended sale of the ICX7150-24, -24P, -48, -48P and -48PF on 10 March 2025, and of the ICX7150-C12P, -C10ZP and -48ZP on 15 January 2026. Ruckus's support site now notes that all ICX 7150 models are end of sale.
- How many ICX 7150 switches can be stacked?
- Up to 12 in one stack, up to 10 km apart, over the SFP+ stacking and uplink ports, with no stacking module needed. Ruckus says all ICX 7150 models stack together, including the multigigabit 48ZP and C10ZP; the 8-port ICX 7150-C08P is the exception and is not sold here. The 48ZP can use four of its 10GbE ports for stacking and the other four for uplinks.
- Which ICX 7150 models run silently?
- The compact C12P and C10ZP and the non-PoE ICX 7150-24 and ICX 7150-48 have a fanless design. The ICX 7150-24P and ICX 7150-48P have a silent mode that runs with the fan off and a 150 W PoE budget.
- How much PoE does each ICX 7150 deliver?
- Per Ruckus's data sheet: C12P 124 W, C10ZP 240 W, 24P and 48P 370 W, 48PF 740 W. The 48ZP ships with one 920 W power supply and a 740 W PoE budget, and reaches 1,480 W with two power supplies.
- What condition and warranty come with a Ruckus ICX 7150 switch from Townsend?
- Each listing prints its own condition. Units sold as new, refurbished or used are bench tested before they are listed: every port and module slot is checked and the previous owner's configuration is erased. They are covered by the Townsend warranty from the date of delivery; if the hardware fails in normal use we repair it or replace it with a tested unit, and the length and terms are on our warranty page. Unused hardware can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Ruckus software licences and support contracts are not part of our warranty.
