This page lists network hardware that does not sit on the switch, router, security, transceiver, power supply or chassis pages. It currently holds one part, the RAD Data OP-1551/6384/STC/AC/R/SC/13L/D, an Optimux-1551 multiplexer.RAD's data sheet describes the Optimux-1551 as a fiber multiplexer for 63E1/84T1 over STM-1/OC-3. Up to 21, 42 or 63 E1 channels, or 28, 56 or 84 T1 channels, are mapped into a single channelized STM-1/OC-3 uplink, and the unit can extend a local loop up to 80 km. The part number is a build code from the data sheet: 6384 is the tributary module for 63 E1 or 84 T1 links, STC is the optional station clock, AC is the 100 to 240 VAC power supply and R a redundant power supply of the same type, SC 13L is a 1310 nm single mode laser uplink with SC fiber connectors, and D is a redundant uplink for 1+1 protection. For the SC 13L uplink the data sheet gives a typical range of 20 km.
