The Brocade BR-MLX-10GX20-X2 is a line card with 20 ports of 1/10GbE SFP+. It is a module that installs into a host chassis and does not run on its own. This unit is refurbished (used): inspected, powered on and functionally tested by Townsend Networks technicians before listing. It ships as the module only.
HOW IT DIFFERS
BR-MLX-10GX20-X2 is the X2 scale version of the 20 port 10 GbE and 1 GbE combo module. Extreme's installation guide gives it a FIB of 2M IPv4 and 0.8M IPv6 routes at once, or 1.5M IPv4 and 1M IPv6, where its sister BR-MLX-10GX20-M holds 512K IPv4 routes. Both need SFP+ and SFP optics and high speed switch fabric modules, and the technical specification rates each at 440 W.
