The Brocade BR-VDX6740-64-R is a switch with 48 ports of 1/10GbE SFP+, 4 ports of 40GbE QSFP+, back-to-front airflow and AC power. This unit is used: inspected, powered on and functionally tested by Townsend Networks technicians before listing. One switch per order, with a rack-mount kit and the power cable(s) to match.
HOW IT DIFFERS
BR-VDX6740-64-R is the rear-to-front airflow version of the SFP+ VDX 6740 at its 64-port tier: 48 SFP+ ports plus 4 QSFP+ ports split into 16 10 GbE ports. Extreme builds the VDX 6740 with two 250 W AC supplies carrying three integrated fans each, 4.32 cm tall and 8.66 kg, and a replacement for this unit has to end in -R. Its sister BR-VDX6740-64-F is the front-to-rear version of the same 64-port switch.
