The Brocade BR-VDX6740T-48-R is a switch with 48 ports of 1/10GbE RJ45, 4 ports of 40GbE QSFP+, back-to-front airflow and AC power. This unit is refurbished (used): inspected, powered on and functionally tested by Townsend Networks technicians before listing. One switch per order, with a rack-mount kit and the power cable(s) to match.

HOW IT DIFFERS
BR-VDX6740T-48-R is the rear-to-front VDX 6740T. Extreme's installation guide gives its parts the orange I symbol and a part number ending in -R: they take air in from the non-port side and push it out through the port side, the opposite of the green E exhaust parts on its sister BR-VDX6740T-48-F. Everything else the guide describes for the 6740T, 48 ports of 10G Base-T copper plus four 40 GbE QSFP ports, is common to both versions. Choose it when the cold aisle faces the power supplies.
