HOW IT DIFFERS
BR-VDX6740T-56-1G-R is the VDX 6740T-1G variant with rear-to-front airflow, so its fans and supplies must be replaced with -R parts. Extreme describes the 1G base model as fully populated with 48 Ethernet ports on Base-T (RJ-45) at 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps, with two 40 GbE ports included and a 40G Port Upgrade license for two additional ones. It is the 10.82 kg 6740T chassis with two 500 W supplies. Its sister BR-VDX6740T-56-1G-F is the front-to-rear version.
