The Cisco ASA5516-K9 is a firewall from the Cisco ASA5516 family with 8 ports of 1GbE RJ45 and AC power. A separate 1x 1GbE RJ45 port is for management. This unit is refurbished (used): inspected, powered on and functionally tested by Townsend Networks technicians before listing. One unit per order.

HOW IT DIFFERS
ASA5516-K9 is the Cisco ASA 5516-X. With the Firepower Threat Defense image Cisco rates it at 850 Mbps firewall plus AVC (1024B), 250K concurrent sessions, 11K new connections a second and 250 Mbps of IPSec VPN. Its sister ASA5508-K9 is the smaller 5508-X at 450 Mbps, 100K sessions, 7.5K new connections a second and 175 Mbps of VPN.
