Cat4500-X 40 Port 10GE Ent Services, Front-to-Back, No PS
HOW IT DIFFERS
WS-C4500X-40X-ES is the Catalyst 4500-X in its 40-port 10GE Enterprise Services form, with front-to-back cooling and no power supply in the box. Cisco lists an 8-port 10GE network module, C4KX-NM-8SFP+, as the optional addition to the 32-port base, and the same data sheet gives the 4500-X up to 800 Gbps of system throughput and dual power supplies. Its sister WS-C4500X-32SFP+ is the 32-port IP Base unit.
