HOW IT DIFFERS
WS-X4748-UPOE+E is the Catalyst 4500E 48-port 10/100/1000 RJ-45 line card with UPOE (up to 60 watts per port) plus 802.3at and 802.3af, line rate 1:1 at 48 Gbps per slot. Its sister WS-X4748-RJ45V+E is the same 48-port 1:1 card with 802.3at PoE+ (PoEP) instead of UPOE. Both are rated 75 W maximum.
