MX480-PREMIUM-DC is the DC powered MX480 premium chassis; its sister MX480-PREMIUM-AC is the AC powered one. Juniper's MX Series data sheet lists the premium chassis in DC and AC versions, each with redundant RE and SCBEs. In the MX480 hardware guide a DC supply weighs 3.8 lb (1.7 kg), has one DC input at 48 VDC with return and its own dedicated circuit breaker, and the 2.4 kW PWR-MX480-2400-DC is the top DC option.
