HOW IT DIFFERS: BR-VDX6940-144S-AC-R is the rear-to-front VDX 6940-144S: air enters at the non-port side and leaves through the ports, which Extreme calls port-side exhaust. Its sister BR-VDX6940-144S-AC-F is the same 2U chassis with the airflow reversed. The specifications give the 144S four fan assemblies, a maximum airflow of 370 cmh (218 CFM) and a maximum noise of 87 dBA. Choose it when the power supplies face the cold aisle.
