The Juniper EX3400-24P is a switch from the Juniper EX3400 family with 24 ports of 1GbE PoE+ RJ45, 2 ports of 40GbE QSFP+, front-to-back airflow and AC power. It has 30 ports in all. It runs Junos OS. This unit is refurbished (used): inspected, powered on and functionally tested by Townsend Networks technicians before listing. One switch per order, with a rack-mount kit and the power cable(s) to match.

- EX3400-24P is the 24 port PoE+ EX3400. Juniper's data sheet lists 24 PoE+ ports with 4 SFP+ and 2 QSFP+ uplinks, a PoE budget of 370 W with one power supply or 720 W with two, and a 600 W AC power supply of 1.82 lb (0.83 kg), front-to-back airflow and 37 dBA of acoustic noise. Its sister EX3400-48P carries 48 PoE+ ports, 740 W or 1440 W of PoE budget and a 920 W supply, and is rated at 46 dBA.

- The power supplies and fan modules are field replaceable and labelled for airflow out (AFO, front to back) or airflow in (AFI, back to front). The models above ship front to back; Juniper also builds an EX3400-48T-AFI for back-to-front airflow.
- What condition and warranty come with a Juniper EX3400 switch from Townsend?
- Each listing prints its own condition. Units sold as new, refurbished or used are bench tested before they are listed: every port and module slot is checked and the previous owner's configuration is erased. They are covered by the Townsend warranty from the date of delivery; if the hardware fails in normal use we repair it or replace it with a tested unit, and the length and terms are on our warranty page. Unused hardware can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Juniper software licences and support contracts are not part of our warranty.
