The Juniper EX3400-48T-TAA is a switch from the Juniper EX3400 family with 48 ports of 1GbE RJ45, 2 ports of 40GbE QSFP+, front-to-back airflow and AC power. It has 54 ports in all. It runs Junos OS. Compatible with
JPSU-150-AC-AFO, the 150 W AC supply with front-to-back airflow that ships in the box, and its matching front-to-back fans. The back-to-front JPSU-150-AC-AFI belongs to EX3400-48T-AFI, and the power cord is ordered separately.
HOW IT DIFFERS
EX3400-48T-TAA is the TAA version of the 48 port EX3400. Juniper's ordering table describes it as an EX3400 TAA 48-port 10/100/1000BASE-T switch with four 1/10GbE SFP/SFP+ and two 40GbE QSFP+ uplinks, redundant fans, front-to-back airflow and one JPSU-150-AC-AFO supply, optics sold separately. That is the same specification as the row for its sister EX3400-48T, which carries no TAA mark; the back-to-front sister is EX3400-48T-AFI with a JPSU-150-AC-AFI supply.

Can I change the airflow on an EX3400?
The power supplies and fan modules are field replaceable and labelled for airflow out (AFO, front to back) or airflow in (AFI, back to front). The models above ship front to back; Juniper also builds an EX3400-48T-AFI for back-to-front airflow.
What condition and warranty come with a Juniper EX3400 switch from Townsend?
Each listing prints its own condition. Units sold as new, refurbished or used are bench tested before they are listed: every port and module slot is checked and the previous owner's configuration is erased. They are covered by the Townsend warranty from the date of delivery; if the hardware fails in normal use we repair it or replace it with a tested unit, and the length and terms are on our warranty page. Unused hardware can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Juniper software licences and support contracts are not part of our warranty.
