Arista announced end of sale for three of its 100G top-of-rack and spine switches on July 1, 2026. The 7060CX-32S and 7060CX2-32S reached end of sale on October 1, 2026. The 7060SX2-48YC6 shares that date. Support for all of them ends on October 1, 2031.
That is five years of support after the last order date.

What the dates mean
Arista's end-of-sale notices give a last day to order and a date on which support ends. A switch does not stop working on either date. What changes is who stands behind it: after the support date there are no new software fixes and no hardware replacement from the maker.
Every Arista part number ends in an airflow letter. If -F and -R are not familiar, read airflow suffixes explained before ordering a spare.
The replacement the maker names
Arista's notices name the DCS-7050CX3-32C as the replacement for the 7060CX and 7060CX2, and the DCS-7050SX3-48YC8C for the 7060SX2-48YC6.
