Juniper announced end of life for the EX2300 on April 30, 2026. End of sale was September 30, 2026, and end of support is September 30, 2031. The notice covers the 24 and 48 port models, the multigigabit 48MP and the compact 12 port units.
For an access switch that is a long tail. An EX2300 bought used today still has a maker support window that runs into the next decade.

What the dates mean
Juniper publishes its end-of-life dates in a technical bulletin. The last order date is the end of sale. End of engineering is the day Juniper stops developing software fixes for the platform. End of support is the last day Juniper's support center takes a case and the last day a support contract covers the hardware.
What we list
The Juniper EX2300 page holds every listing in the family. Part numbers listed today:
What owners do next
- Keep running it. A switch, router or firewall does not stop working on a maker's date. Hold a tested spare of the same part number so a failure is a swap and not an outage. See the Juniper EX2300 listings.
- Buy more of what you already run. Matching hardware keeps one software image, one set of optics and one spares pool across the site.
- Sell what you retire. When the replacement goes in, send us the list and we will quote the pull.
Every unit we ship is tested in-house first and carries our warranty. If the part number you need is not listed, request a quote and we will check the warehouse.
