Ruckus ICX 7150 End of Sale: Which Models and When

Ruckus has ended the sale of the ICX 7150 in two steps. The 24 and 48 port models, with and without PoE, reached end of sale on March 10, 2025. The compact C12P and C10ZP and the 48ZP followed, with an end-of-sale date of January 15, 2026.

The ICX 7150 is an entry campus switch, sold first under the Brocade name and then under Ruckus. End of sale closes the maker's order book. It does not change what the switches already installed can do.

What the dates mean

Ruckus announces end of sale by model group. End of sale is the last day the maker takes an order. The hardware keeps working after it, and the notice for each group carries the support timeline for that group.

What we list

The ICX 7150 page holds every listing in the family. Part numbers listed today:

What owners do next

  • Keep running it. A switch, router or firewall does not stop working on a maker's date. Hold a tested spare of the same part number so a failure is a swap and not an outage. See the ICX 7150 listings.
  • Buy more of what you already run. Matching hardware keeps one software image, one set of optics and one spares pool across the site.
  • Sell what you retire. When the replacement goes in, send us the list and we will quote the pull.

Every unit we ship is tested in-house first and carries our warranty. If the part number you need is not listed, request a quote and we will check the warehouse.

Quick answers

When did Ruckus ICX 7150 (24, 24P, 48, 48P, 48PF) reach end of sale?

March 10, 2025. The date is from the Ruckus notice linked in the article.

Does the hardware stop working after the end-of-support date?

No. It keeps running. What ends is the maker's side: new software fixes, support cases and replacement under a maker contract.

Does Townsend Networks still sell it?

Yes. Listings are on the ICX 7150 page, tested in-house before they ship, and anything not listed can be quoted.
