Juniper stopped selling the QFX5100 in 2022. End of sale was July 1, 2022 for the 24Q, 48S and 48T models and December 31, 2022 for the 96S. Support ends on July 1, 2027 for the first group and on December 31, 2027 for the 96S.
The QFX5100 is a 10G and 40G data center switch with a large installed base, and much of that base will run it up to those dates and past them. The planning question is spares and software, not whether the switch still does its job.

What the dates mean
Juniper publishes its end-of-life dates in a technical bulletin. The last order date is the end of sale. End of engineering is the day Juniper stops developing software fixes for the platform. End of support is the last day Juniper's support center takes a case and the last day a support contract covers the hardware.
